Angi Mari is quite the success story: Not only has the published author created a children's cartoon, she's also a mixed-media artist who's sold every piece she's created. And she's an accomplished model! "I'm super fun to chill with, too," she says. "And, not to sound conceited, but I always feel sexy." Work of Angi Mari Yangas is featured in Chicago’s Lora D Art Gallery. Her dual passion for art and writing has helped her get through the tough times as a young, single mother.  Angi strives to give her son—and children all over—stories and characters they can learn from, laugh with, and love.

She has a 6 year old little boy named Oz who she absolutely adores. He has motivated her to get all the places, stories and characters that have been living in her head since she was a little girl, out on paper. Out of high school she went to Columbia College and was majoring in journalism. She didn't stay in school for very long due to a given opportunity to go over seas and model with Elite model management.

While continuing modeling, she keeps writing for both of her children's series and has completed multiple art installations. She couldn’t be more proud of how everything is turning out. The only thing she's looking for now is the fairytale ending.
